I CUT MY BOYFRIENDS HAIR?!// 7.11.16

Hey guys!! So exciting news... I decided to start vlogging again! I can't remember if I put this in my last post or not but I was recently looking back at some older vlogs I did and am sooo happy I have those. I am also going through some changes (like college!) that I thought some people might be interested in seeing. Today's vlog covers all sorts of things from what I have been eating (lol kinda), cutting bens hair, and working out. Enjoy!! lol and for all you youtubers out there subscribe because I only have thirty subscribers and that looks super lame:/. also, guys hahaha this is actually kinda funny but I think I am going to start recording actual youtube videos. I watch them all the time so why not but I just have to get over getting embarrassed. Who knows, you might be watching a sit down youtube video with me by the end of the week!!

WEEK IN REVIEW: JULY 2ND- JULY 8TH

I am not really sure how I want to set these weekly posts up, but I really like the idea of them so I am going for it haha. This post is almost all consumed of Fourth of July but it was one of my favorite days of the year so it should have a lot of pictures.

Saturday- Last Saturday I went to dinner with Courtney (Ben's brothers fiance) and had a fab time. I also completed almost all my dorm shopping which was pretty exciting (and stressful) but I'm just glad thats done before everything was sold out.

Sunday- Hung out with my fam by the pool (no pics)

Monday- Fourth of July!! This seriously might have been my favorite fourth of july ever. We were able to hit everything I wanted too. The day started with the Cedarburg parade (which btw, is like my favorite thing ever. I love living in a small town that comes together like that to celebrate our country). We then headed to one of my best friends lake houses. I got to spend the day with my closest friends boating around the lake. We then headed back to Cedarburg and made it to fireworks.

Tuesday- I went to skyzone with the family I nanny (who are more like my friends haha). It was so fun and I finally felt back in my natural habitat #exgymnastprobs.

Wednesday- Went to see Jason Derulo at summerfest and nearly died from the crowd. I have good memories from that night and very bad memories :/.

Friday- Ben and I have been waiting to see The Secret Life of Pets (so lame I know haha) ever since we saw the commercial. Yesterday was the first official day it was out in theaters so we made a little date out of it. We headed to dinner before at the restaurant they have at the theater and then went and saw the movie. Unfortunately, we didn't  like it very much which sucks because we were so excited!!

LAUREN AND ADAM WEDDING

I had the best time recording Lauren and Adam's wedding with Sarah earlier in June! Thankful that she trusted us even though we had no idea what we were doing:/. I love how it turned out though and can't wait to do more!

GRADUATION PARTY

So this post is kinda a mess but.... I really wanted to show you guys my grad party! Originally, I was planning on doing separate posts for all the little (actually over my head and I had no idea what I was doing) projects I did for this but I started stressing out majorly how I wasn't going to finish everything and forgot to take pictures along the way:'). AND I am posting this before my actual graduation post (which is coming within this week!!) so were all out of whack over her at BSL. Like how I just gave this a nickname hahaha. Anyways, the day could not have gone better and I had the best time surrounded around everyone I love (it also helped that I got a whole lot of money donated to the Sophie College Fund:). I also got to have it with my best friend and we managed to not rip each other heads off!! You can't ask for much more. I'll go through all the projects I did and will try not to forget any!!

Picture Board: This was the main thing that I wanted for my party and it came out e-x-a-c-t-l-y as I had planned in my head which like never happens. Ben actually put together the pallets for me (bf goals) that he had at his Dad's company and I stained them to get them the dark color. Cheap and cute=check! I made the Sophie Zang on top from a thinner piece of wood I found at Home Depot and painted on my name and school. I had two of these made (so four 8ft tall pallets in total) so Sarah and I would have matching boards. Clearly, she's a little more spirited about her school than I am;).

Photo Booth Board: This was all Sarah. She did the whole thing and it looked amazing so maj props there. Were actually saving it for our sisters who graduate next year because its so good.

Welcome sign: I put these at the two entrances to our neighborhood. All the lettering from our party fit in with our card invitation (no-one probably noticed this but I did so thats all that mattered haha). I just got two thicker wood boards from Home Depot and gorilla glued a hinge to both of them so the would stand up straight. I just painted on everything else with normal house paint. I did this same thing with the smaller board too for cards.

Square picture holder: This was super easy. They sold a pack of like 14 of these plain wood square blocks from Michaels so I picked those up with some spray paint (I used black, white, and gold to fit the graduation look) and then had my dad cut a slit down the middle for pictures to fit into. I did have a few issues with these and would recommend spray painting after you cut the slit. Also, these fell down so much from the wind so I would also probably get slightly bigger blocks so the don't tip over.

Snapchat filter: Sarah and I thought we were genius by coming up with this idea until we found out the rest of our little town had the same idea so it wasn't anything special anymore. buttt, it was still super cute and a great way to add a little personal touch. I made these on Photoshop but I think I only saved one of my designs!! So mad I can't find the other one. These were only $7 each so if you're throwing a little party I would definitely recommend.

I think thats all!! Hope you guys like my little round up from my grad party!

A little behind the scene action:

CHICAGO- JUNE

hheeyy hey guys!! I want to start writing down some events that I have taken part in or memories I have been making lately so I am going to start actually blogging about real life happenings- crazy right?? haha just kidding.

Last weekend I headed down to meet my mom in Chicago for a little girls weekend. I had the most amazing time and wish I could relive again. We stayed at Four Seasons hotel and our room was on the highest floor (which I was freaking out about the whole entire time because if basically anything happens to our hotel were toast aka fires, terrorist attacks, tornado, etc.). Our hotel was right next to all the shopping so my mom and I started off by just shopping but it quickly planned into a "lets pretend I am getting married" type of weekend. Which BTW, won't be happening for at least 6 years. We saw this beautiful dress outside the store front windows and we went in to see the price assuming it would like $15,000. It ended up being $1,400!!! What?!!?! My mom was basically freaking out because she realized there was store that I could get a beautiful dress out that wouldn't wipe out all her savings :/. The store turned out to be Anthropologies wedding store so it couldn't have been decorated much cuter. I picked out my ceremony and reception dress pictured above;), This got us in the wedding mood so we continued on to Tiffanys and Cartier to pick out my engagement ring and after trying on a various number of prices going all the way up to $150,000 (ouch) I landed on a $12,500 ring also pictured above from Tiffany's. Little things like this leave the biggest, best memories and I can't wait to have a weekend like this again. Also, can't forget to mention the next day we had a spa day at Four Seasons and it was a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
